Okay, in this lovely game of life is the whole side game of dating. Which, I happen to love! Going out on dates is really fun! Now, the whole blind date thing, I have yet to do, and have issues with it. And in conversation over dinner I randomly decided to ask my parents who they thought should pay on a blind date, my dad said that hypothetically speaking the two should go dutch.
I was out at Starbizzucks with some friends last night, and we got into the same conversation, but we decided that whoever sets up the blind date should pay for it. And if something comes of it, then you pay the set up person back. I was just wondering what everyone out in internet-land thought. I think having the person who sets you up pay is the best option. I mean, who wants to pay, even if just half, for what could possibly be the worst night of your life? Not I.
Peace out! <3

Radio Music Awards...Lifehouse...Eyeliner
Okay, so Monday night got a late start watching the Radio Music Awards (AKA: the RMAs). I only really wanted to see Lifehouse perform, because I hold a special place in my heart for that band. I was taken a back that they did decide to perform "You And Me" instead of their current single, "Blind". Both songs from their latest self-titled album are fantabulous, and you should rush to the nearest music store and buy their album. (See, I told you I love Lifehouse!)
Okay something I don't love is eyeliner on dudes. Granted some dudes can pull off the eyeliner look, but not all. And how is this relevant to Lifehouse and the RMAs?
In Lifehouse's video for "Blind", lead singer Jason Wade is totally rocking eyeliner. And I noticed on their performances on Jay Leno and Carson Daly, he totally had eyeliner on. Like okay, why? It is so not needed. I really don't understand the need for eyeliner when it was never needed before. It really distracted me the entire video. Maybe this is a shallow thing to pick on, but I was seriously happy to see Jason sans eyeliner on the RMAs. I think September/October was the eyeliner bug in bands, because Richie Sambora from Bon Jovi (One of my favorite bands on the entire planet!) rocked eyeliner on the World Music Awards, and it was like...why?
It is like Billie Joe from Green Day can rock eyeliner and he does it well, but its like the artist or more like the artist's management is wanting their artist to look more like the current band that is on top. And I hate it when artists change their image. Most fans (And I'm saying this instead of just saying fans in general, because I don't want to generalize all music fans, because we are a very diverse group of people.), love artists and bands because of the music they make, not how they look or dress. So if you were not the twin to originally rock eyeliner...yes I'm talking to you Joel Madden, then leave your eyes alone. The fans don't care how you dress yourself out. We're about the music. And just a thought...isn't it weird that Benji Madden can pull off the eyeliner look, but Joel totally can't? Or maybe it's just me. Leave me love yo! <3

Here it is.
Welcome to the home of my new blog. I should start with an introduction, but I think you'll get to know me through my columns. I'll try to post a new column a week. Since it's winter break...probably a couple a week. So welcome to my life...and all the randomness that comes with it. I have to start my writing career somewhere...so this will do. Enjoy. Peace out!
